In order to enhance accountability, transparency and illustrate compliance with humanitarian principles and standards, CBM has required the support of Agency RED for carrying out a CHS self-assessment. Builiding on the tools and guidance provided by the CHS Alliance, Agency RED and CBM have conducted an in-depth assessment of policies, systems and practices against the nine commitments of the CHS. The self-assessment serves as basis to develop an improvement plan, and strengthen CBM’s humanitarian policy and partners capacity development approach framework in humanitarian aid.
